In this season of thanks I want to Thank You and all the wonderful teachers at ISHA who have changed my life in the most heartfelt and spiritual way. Words cannot fully say the impact your Aromatherapy program has done for me. Life changing in a spiritual, emotional and professional way come to mind.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist for 13 years and soon to be Certified Clinical Aromatherapist. When people ask me what I do, I instinctively say Clinical Aromatherapist first! Why? Because it is part of my everyday life, almost no matter what I do.
When I start my day it is with prayers of thanks and an oil. With the outstanding training I have received, I can speak with confidence about clinical aromatherapy when asked "What oil should I use?". The knowledge I've gained in your manuals and books can be shared with resources to back it up. To understand what I have learned from chemical composition to how much and how often makes me smile.
Bringing that knowledge in a hospital setting, on a very personal level, as really hit home in the last 2 weeks. It has made me realize the full impact of what I have learned. My neurosurgeon said that frankly he quite surprised that I did not "stroke out or be paralyzed". I know that using essential oils properly has saved my life.
I was rushed to the hospital because I could not walk and my blood pressure was 200/130. While in the ICU, I put oils under my tongue and brought my bp down to 179/103 in under ten minutes! I had virtually no disc space between C5,6,&7 with severe compression of my spinal chord. Essential Oils have supported me thruout this entire experience.
From the ambulance ride with the paramedics to the nurses and staff at the hospital, they all know my space was the most fragrant and the place to be!

| Thanks again for presenting your wonderful program. I feel confident that this will assist me in going forward to share Essential Oils. Learning about the different classifications of oils will encourage me to blend oils for myself and others. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with like-minded individuals. Although I do energetic bodywork, the work we learned will be a nice addition to what I already do. The work can be so profound with just a few drops of oil. The ISHA CCA Program that I completed in 2007 has changed my life first by allowing me to have a credential. This credential is important to and respected by many other health professionals that I am collaborating with who also have various health profession certifications or licensing. I assertively use the CCA designation in all my communications; and I find that it draws attention because not many people understand what true aroma therapy means beyond the commercial use of the word and this allows me to impart knowledge about it.
In addition, the in-class course work, homework, research project and exams all opened up my understanding of science to a level where I am no longer threatened by it and actually want and am pursuing more knowledge. Later this year, I will be beginning a program to obtain a Master of Science in Natural Health and then onto a Doctor of Education in Holistic Health and Wellness. From someone who has a business background and ran from anything related to science as much as possible until I was introduced to Young Living Essential Oils, this is quite a life change by itself.
One other major change was my understanding and acceptance of energy healing. It was in the ISHA CCA classes that the shift started and was completed. That alone, opened me up to receive and understand so much more and tie it back to Christian principles.
Thank you Linda for pursuing your calling which has allowed me and many others to pursue our true callings.
