The vision of ISHA is to help restore healing to Christianity and to the world.

Mission
Our mission is two-fold. First, it is to provide educational programming to enable students to integrate the spiritual and scriptural aspects of healing ministry, prayer, the laying-on of hands and anointing with essential oils in their faith communities or in their ministry/service settings. Second, it is to provide education to enable students to establish private practices in hands-on healing and/or aromatherapy.

WhAt Is ISHA?

The Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy (ISHA) offers two educational programs: Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry which focuses on Spiritual Healing or Energy Healing and Certification in Aromatherapy to prepare practitioners like you in the art of hands-on healing and anointing with essential oils. Both programs are forms of energy medicine used in complementary health care, private practice, ministry settings, or for personal wellness.  Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry and the 3 levels of Certification in Aromatherapy courses are available throughout the United States and in some other countries – Australia, Canada,Singapore, and Trinidad. Check our schedule for a course near you or click on the logos below to explore each program’s offerings.

Educational Approvals

The Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy (ISHA) is a provider of continuing education for the following groups:

• Nurses: ISHA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider No. CEP 13181). Nurses in other states may submit a certificate of attendance along with the course objectives to their nursing organization for consideration for CE approval. They may also receive CE’s by sending their certificate of attendance to Taylor College: to the Continuing Education Department in California.

• Massage Therapists: ISHA is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider for massage therapy (Approved Provider #419980-00).

• Aromatherapists: ISHA is approved as a provider of certification in aromatherapy by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) for Levels 1, 2, and 3.  ISHA is recognized as a provider of Level I in Aromatherapy by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). ISHA is accredited by the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA). ISHA was the first American School to receive this recognition.
